Well, considering I was feeling pretty lousy the past few days, writing this is feeling pretty good so maybe I just needed a way to vent in a positive fashion. I hope this can be such a place for my head to release the stress in a good way.
Here is the first of many shots from our China adventure. Heng Chun Branch, Taiwan, May 2008. I return to the place where I spent 6 months of my LDS mission. To the left of me is a sister who is the sister-in-law of a woman we helped join the church. I bawled so badly that day during the meeting that they had to wipe me off the floor (well symbolically anyway). Also present is Liana, Nick, Bob and our friend Jordan who came along for the ride. It was a "magical" day for me, that perhaps only a returned missionary can understand, I don't know. The feeling of being blessed beyond measure was complete. More later.

My brother has spent a lot of time in China during the past 15 years including time in Chengdu (twice) and he is currently in Bejing again. I'll have to check and see if he was there when you were there since he also spent a few years in Thailand. BTW his wife is from Taiwan.
